Rush in a Hurry is up at DCProtestWarrior
Good stuff.
Rush appeared on MSNBC's "Morning Joe." The free transcript and audio and video are posted.
Stay updated on the mission at TankerBabe's site.
Friends, I know eveyone is constantly bombarded with requests for money, send stuff there, send stuff here. I hate it. I hate being asked and I hate asking.
What I hate even more is finding out a soldier is cold or hungry. Yeah yeah, it goes with the job..but we can do something to help. We can make the desolate hopeful. We can do the work SOME politicians WON'T do.
We know how. We have the resources. We have the will. We know how to make a difference in the lives of the soldiers deployed on the front lines of the War on Terror. The men of the 173rd 2-503 and the 1st 91 are on the front lines of the fight to end the terror. They are taking the heat for us, and no one has asked us to sacrifice one single thing.
With the surge in Iraq working, Al-Qeda is going to cut their losses and re-focus their efforts on the Afghan-Pakistan region. That means these men will be working even harder. They will be facing the evil that murdered 3,000 innocent people on 11 September 2001. They will be the ones with the bulls-eyes on their backs. They will die for us if asked.
WHAT WILL YOU DO FOR THEM??????
TankerBabe and I are doing everything we can with the resources we have, and I want to thank everyone who has stepped up and made a difference.
But we need more. I'm sorry, but the fact is WE NEED MORE. We need more balaclavas, more scarves, more socks, more boots, more blankets. We need them NOW. We needed them yesterday.
PLEASE, for the sake of these brave men standing 12,000 feet on a mountain, do what you know is right. Help us take care of these brave warriors. No one else will. The politicians sure as hell won't.
If not us, who? If not now, WHEN??? Winter is coming. The Afghan mountains are brutal. Suppose it was your son? Your husband?
You know what? They are. Everyone of those men is family. We need to treat them like family.
Now, just to make things simple, if you look to your left, you'll see an avatar for US Cavalry. Clicking on that will take you straight to USCav.com. How sweet is that? You can help a whole bunch of brave Americans protecting us and you don't even have to leave the house. It doesn't get any easier or any better than that.
You can use Coupon Code USCCJ10 at checkout and save 10%
Now, just to make it even easier, here's a few links to the gear on USCav that the soldiers have asked us for:
Balaclavas
Gaiters
You can scroll down on these pages and if you're so inclined, there are some other winter items they could use.
For the price of a dinner out, you could outfit one soldier with gear to keep him warm and alert while he's doing his job protecting us by ridding the world of the scum-sucking islamo-fascists who, if given the opportunity, would kill every American they could.
I've been asked for addresses; I cannot and will not release the addresses of any deployed soldier. I will however, give you an addresss to ship to until we get things finialized with USCav;

Rush in a Hurry
Rush started off the day with an interview on Fox & Friends about Senator Harry Reid's "phony soldiers" smear letter. (Free: transcript | audio | video ) Forty-one Senate Democrats including three presidential candidates signed this historic document attacking a private citizen. The original copy has hit $56,000 on eBay. If that's out of your price range, download a PDF copy for free right here. Every cent of the winning bid will go to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF.org). Rush's will match Friday's final bid, and challenges the Democrat signatories to do the same. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
MC-LEF's James Kallstrom called to thank Rush, and all of you, for your contributions.
Sequel to a Smear? Senator Barbara Mikulski claimed that Rush called "dissident military people 'Microphone Marines.'" Yes, it seems taking Rush out of context isn't enough. Now the Democrats have to make quotes up outright! Rush has never, ever used the term "Microphone Marines," but we found out who did. A liberal in Mikulski's local newspaper, the Baltimore Sun, used the term repeatedly in a recent column -- get this -- to attack Rush! (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
A Marine called up urging Rush to embrace the title "Microphone Marine," saying he's earned it.
Aged rockers David Crosby and Graham Nash (Stills had the brains to stay home) rip our troops in Iraq as killing mothers and sisters and "hundreds of thousands of Iraqis." When will the Senate move to condemn this as "unpatriotic"?
A Marine thanks Rush for recommending Norman Podhoretz's "World War IV: the Long Struggle Against Islamofascism."
Rush declares Hillary Clinton "the most cheated on woman in the history of the world."
Meanwhile, Mrs. Clinton's keeps changing positions on when she'd pull out on Iraq -- as soon as she's elected, in 60 days, not before the end of her first term in office. Rush plays Maya Angelou gushing over the woman who would be sista-in-chief. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Plus, the Rush's Stack of Stuff Quick Hits Page on the Viennese "divorce fair," Free Speech Week, Hillary's eavesdropping, a preview of Hillary's presidency, "supervised drug injections" in San Francisco, a new SCHIP family, and an Air America host blames falling down on right-wing extremists!
All this and more when we update RushLimbaugh.com.
I'm too busy with my newest project to comment on these. We're "sharpening the spear".
I have a new post up on my other site.
On Today's Show:
A programming note: Jason Lewis of KTLK in Minneapolis will be tomorrow's guest host, while Rush travels to Philadelphia for a sold-out Rush to Excellence performance. Rush will be back on the air for Open Line Friday.
Rush has obtained the original letter that Harry Reid sent to Clear Channel demanding they reprimand Rush for the "phony soldiers" comment he never said. This thing is signed by 41 Democrat senators. We have big plans for it, which cannot be divulged just yet.
Eating fat is bad for you, right? Wrong, according to a new study. It had been the consensus, supported by 92% of scientists for years, but now we know it was incorrect. It should make you wonder about the current "consensus" on global warming. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Speaking of the global warming hoax, a UK court has cited eleven falsehoods in Algore's movie and ruled that schools must point them out to children before showing the film. He'll win the Nobel Peace Prize anyway. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Congressman Henry Waxman has denied that he is investigating talk radio. The American Spectator reported this story, so we have conflicting information. If we use liberal standards here, the seriousness of the charge is such that there should be an official investigation into the allegations that Waxman is conducting an investigation.
If our pal Henry is indeed monitoring the program, we direct him to two stories today in particular: House Democrats have put the Iraq debate on the back burner, because they realize that we are winning. And the very same House Democrats are aiding the enemies of America with their attempts to water down of the terrorist surveillance program.
Hillary is riding a bus called the "Middle Class Express" and says she can unite the country because she has been smeared by the right-wing and has learned to live with it. The Drive-Bys swallows this whole.
The Drive-By analysis of the Republican debate focused on Fred Thompson and the GOP candidates' criticism of Hillary. Rush had praise for Giuliani and Thompson's straightforward answers on the greatness of the American economy. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Remember the Frost family, exploited by Democrats pushing the SCHIP expansion? Well, the Drive-By Media is now focusing on the allegation that Rush "attacked" these people. The point these journalists should be focusing on is that this family's children would still be covered under the plan as currently designed.
Rush discussed a fascinating scam perpetrated by rich New York City liberals. Taxpayers foot the bill for the "special needs education" of their children at ritzy private schools.

On Today's Show:
Rush says, "You're welcome." Why? Because while the "phony soldier" smear paralyzed the Senate, that august body couldn't pass any more laws to take away your freedoms. Rush also accepts credit for Democrats caving on an intelligence bill which will allow the Bush administration to continue tapping phone calls to and from terrorists. All this may boost Rush over Algore when they award the Nobel Peace Prize this Friday. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Chris Matthews, Democrat shill and former lackey for Speaker "Tip" O'Neill (D-MA), claims that bloggers on both sides have been attacking him... for 20 years. He threatens to "go rip" if anyone at this afternoon's GOP debate questions his objectivity. Rush's debate strategy for the candidates: rev up the base by going after the very sort of Drive-By Media bias that Chris Matthews represents.
Why are Democrats running against Rush? A columnist traces Hillary Clinton's smear-destroy-discredit tactics back to Saul Alinsky, her late mentor. Meanwhile, the latest left-wing push to tell you what to believe involves the laughable claim that people are "warming" to this ice sculpture in a pants suit. Oh, and we're all one paycheck away from homelessness again. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Kim, a college student in St. Louis, has been told to avoid the BBC and use Al-Jazeera as a source for international news.
A Rush Prediction Coming True: the #1 issue for Democrats in 2008 will not be Iraq. Instead, they're pitching clichis on "The Future of the Country."
Sen. Trent Lott tries to explain what he wants to do about Rush, and joins the long line of people reminding us how many death threats they get. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Dr. James Dobson threatens to go with a third party if the GOP nominee doesn't meet his smell test.
The ultimate smell-tester, Henry Waxman, gets an earful at his Capitol offices from voters outraged that he's going to turn the full force of the American government to investigating talk show hosts like Rush. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Hillary scraps the $5K per child credit, and offers to buy them a 401(k) plan instead (with your money, of course).
In Rush's Stack of Stuff Quick Hits Page: Terrorists endorse Hillary for president! Money managers begin to offer "wealth psychology" assistance to suffers from Affluenza. A stressful marriage will lead to more heart attacks. A Monday Night Football recap. Dan Bartlett rips the GOP presidential field, except Rudy. (And a whole lot more.)
All this and more when we update RushLimbaugh.com!

On Today's Show:
The "phony soldiers" smear still hasn't died down. Senator Ken Salazar (D-CO) wants to censure Rush. Did he make Rush a senator? Democrats must be worried about the Pandora's Box they've opened. By wrongly accusing Rush of dishonoring the troops, they've stipulated that the troops shouldn't be dishonored, which is what they do constantly in words and deeds. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Hillary Clinton said on tape that she "helped to start" Media Matters. A stooge from Media Matters was asked on TV if Mrs. Clinton helped to start their organization and he said, "No." Somebody is lying here. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
The Drive-Bys are on to a new smear: They're claiming Rush called Brian McGough of VoteVets.org a "suicide bomber." Rush never uttered the words, and, in fact, praised McGough's valor and called him a hero. Listen to what Rush actually said, and what he tells Brian McGough, who is upset by this slight that never occurred. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
The Stack of Stuff Quick Hits page today features news on the addadictomy and choppadicoffamy procedures, a dropped charge of homicide by enema; the Democrat Mayor of Atlantic City who inflated his military record; and the danger of starvation after a nuclear war between India and Pakistan.
Did you know that phony soldier Jesse MacBeth's real name is Jesse Al-Zaid?
The Mad Bomber of Bosnia, General Wesley Clark, was called on the carpet by Rush yesterday and was given the once over by Tucker Carlson of MSNBC. Clark wants regulated political speech with a rating system like we have with movies. What a moron! Carlson called the idea "Orwellian" and he was correct.
In an absolutely hilarious fundraising letter about Rush, Senator Harry Reid writes, "It's one thing to call me 'Dingy Harry' -- it's another to insult our men and women in uniform." We can't make these things up, folks.
Thanks to Republicans Fred Thompson, Mitch McConnell -- and even John McCain -- for speaking out on Rush's side of the "phony soldiers" smear. Democrats are still at it, however. Rep. Steve Israel (D-NY) got all exorcised on the House floor. He says that Rush has provided "aid and comfort" to the enemy. If only Democrats would be as focused and passionate about destroying America's real enemies as they are about attacking Rush.
Geraldo Rivera advised Rush to apologize for the "ambiguity" created by this controversy. Who created the ambiguity, Geraldo? It was the Democrats and Drive-By Media! They should apologize.
Mrs. Clinton's path to the presidency is such a sure thing that Democrats are panicking. Rush analyzes the political landscape and busts a bunch of myths: Democrats are not the majority party in this country; the white male vote is still the most important voting block in America; and a candidate with Mrs. Clinton's ex-wife personality and peculiar cackle cannot be called "inevitable." (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
After his interview on this program, Justice Clarence Thomas' book: "My Grandfather's Son" (Buy It Now) hit #1 on Amazon. Ann Coulter has a terrific new book out as well: "If Democrats Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans." (Buy It Now)
All that and more will be at RushLimbaugh.com when we update the site.
To my Brothers in Harm's Way who may be reading this:
We've got your 6.
Do not be discouraged. Do not let the bastards get to you.
They are not America. They don't speak for us. They speak for the asshats and the media.
You are always in our prayers and your efforts will NEVER be in vain as long as I can stand.
SEMPER FIDELIS
SEMPER GRATUS
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is still ducking Rush's challenge to come on the EIB Network, a lack of courage that speaks volumes. Reid is trying to distract the Democrat Party's anti-war base from his failure to remove us from Iraq by manufacturing a news event. Rush never, ever called anti-war soldiers "phony." He was speaking about actual men, like Jesse MacBeth and others, who faked military credentials to win the attention of anti-war groups. Rush stands in awe of those who serve regardless of their political positions. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Senator Harkin brought up Rush's prescription pain addiction in an attack so disgusting, it desecrated the United States Senate itself. Remember, Harkin knows a thing or two about phony soldiers: the Iowa Democrat lied about fighting in Vietnam. When he was caught, he simply "clarified." It's time someone told these liberals that they don't get to infinitely revise their remarks, and they certainly don't have the right to interpret what people like Rush mean when they speak. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
A group called VoteVets.org took Brian McGough, an Iraq War hero, pumped him full of lies from Media Matters for America (which Hillary Clinton admits starting and supporting), and sent him out to attack Rush in an ad. This man will always be a hero to this country. The people behind this ad have used him and betrayed him.
Not all Democrats agree with Reid and Harkin, and not all Republicans have swallowed their tongues or joined the anti-Rush forces like Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC). Senators Nelson and Akaka from the Democrat side refuse to join the effort to hush Rush. Senator John Warner (R-VA) calls Rush a "patriot," recalling their association through the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF).
Who really lifts the morale of our troops: phony patriots like Harry Reid or Rush Limbaugh? The mother of a soldier, veterans, active-duty soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and even an anti-war radical from the 60's agree on the obvious answer.
On MSNBC, Courtney Hazlett and Joe Scarborough dare to report the real story, turning the microscope on Media Matters for America. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
The Washington Post puts out their semi-regular polling blasting President Bush and his conduct of the Iraq War. But wait! What's this? More than half of Americans prefer President Bush's plan for victory over the Democrat plan for defeat. Could it be because the news bears out the success of the surge, with Iraqi civilian and U.S. Military deaths dropping?
1) The Clinton-Soros Group Media Matters for America takes Rush out of context and reports that he called soldiers who oppose the war in Iraq "phony soldiers."
2) The Drive-By Media runs with the lie.
3) A reporter challenges President Bush's spokeswoman to repudiate the quote (that Rush never said.)
4) Democrat senators and House members trip over themselves to condemn Rush, demanding he apologize (for what he never said) and challenging Republicans to condemn him.
If reporters had bothered to check the transcripts and audio at RushLimbaugh.com, or even to call the EIB Network for comment, they wouldn't look like such fools. Rush was talking about phony soldier Jesse MacBeth. MacBeth portrayed himself as a decorated Iraq war veteran who opposed the war. Since "Corporal" MacBeth fit the left's anti-war template, the Drive-By Media lapped up his lies. The truth? Mr. MacBeth was just sentenced to five months in jail for being...a phony soldier. MacBeth never served in Iraq, never won a Purple Heart, never reached the rank of corporal, was never an Army Ranger -- and therefore never could have witnessed war crimes against Iraqi civilians as he claimed. In fact, MacBeth washed out of Army boot camp after 44 days. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Rush reminds us of how Democrats smeared General Petraeus, and how John Kerry, Jack Murtha and Dick Durbin attacked our rank-and-file soldiers based on lies. The full transcript of these comments is posted at RushLimbaugh.com. The Dittocam video of Rush's opening monologue is up on YouTube. Will the media bother to look at either?
The left had to go to a phony soldier to give them bad news out of Iraq. They need bad news because they're invested in defeat, and cannot accept the fact that the surge has brought Sunnis over to our side and away from Al-Qaeda. Frederick Kagan's piece in then Wall Street Journal, "Why We're Winning Now in Iraq," details the anti-war left's worst nightmare. The tide has turned, so much so that every major Democrat presidential candidate has committed to staying in Iraq through 2013. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
