Rush in a Hurry 10 October 2007
I'm too busy with my newest project to comment on these. We're "sharpening the spear".
I have a new post up on my other site.
On Today's Show:
A programming note: Jason Lewis of KTLK in Minneapolis will be tomorrow's guest host, while Rush travels to Philadelphia for a sold-out Rush to Excellence performance. Rush will be back on the air for Open Line Friday.
Rush has obtained the original letter that Harry Reid sent to Clear Channel demanding they reprimand Rush for the "phony soldiers" comment he never said. This thing is signed by 41 Democrat senators. We have big plans for it, which cannot be divulged just yet.
Eating fat is bad for you, right? Wrong, according to a new study. It had been the consensus, supported by 92% of scientists for years, but now we know it was incorrect. It should make you wonder about the current "consensus" on global warming. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Speaking of the global warming hoax, a UK court has cited eleven falsehoods in Algore's movie and ruled that schools must point them out to children before showing the film. He'll win the Nobel Peace Prize anyway. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Congressman Henry Waxman has denied that he is investigating talk radio. The American Spectator reported this story, so we have conflicting information. If we use liberal standards here, the seriousness of the charge is such that there should be an official investigation into the allegations that Waxman is conducting an investigation.
If our pal Henry is indeed monitoring the program, we direct him to two stories today in particular: House Democrats have put the Iraq debate on the back burner, because they realize that we are winning. And the very same House Democrats are aiding the enemies of America with their attempts to water down of the terrorist surveillance program.
Hillary is riding a bus called the "Middle Class Express" and says she can unite the country because she has been smeared by the right-wing and has learned to live with it. The Drive-Bys swallows this whole.
The Drive-By analysis of the Republican debate focused on Fred Thompson and the GOP candidates' criticism of Hillary. Rush had praise for Giuliani and Thompson's straightforward answers on the greatness of the American economy. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Remember the Frost family, exploited by Democrats pushing the SCHIP expansion? Well, the Drive-By Media is now focusing on the allegation that Rush "attacked" these people. The point these journalists should be focusing on is that this family's children would still be covered under the plan as currently designed.
Rush discussed a fascinating scam perpetrated by rich New York City liberals. Taxpayers foot the bill for the "special needs education" of their children at ritzy private schools.
