Random Stuff & Free Rush
Post up on United Conservatives about the 7th District Republican Roundup.
File this under the dumbest thing I've read this week, and it's only Tuesday.
File this under the coolest thing I've read this week.
Rush in a Hurry
Rush started off the day with an interview on Fox & Friends about Senator Harry Reid's "phony soldiers" smear letter. (Free: transcript | audio | video ) Forty-one Senate Democrats including three presidential candidates signed this historic document attacking a private citizen. The original copy has hit $56,000 on eBay. If that's out of your price range, download a PDF copy for free right here. Every cent of the winning bid will go to the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF.org). Rush's will match Friday's final bid, and challenges the Democrat signatories to do the same. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
MC-LEF's James Kallstrom called to thank Rush, and all of you, for your contributions.
Sequel to a Smear? Senator Barbara Mikulski claimed that Rush called "dissident military people 'Microphone Marines.'" Yes, it seems taking Rush out of context isn't enough. Now the Democrats have to make quotes up outright! Rush has never, ever used the term "Microphone Marines," but we found out who did. A liberal in Mikulski's local newspaper, the Baltimore Sun, used the term repeatedly in a recent column -- get this -- to attack Rush! (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
A Marine called up urging Rush to embrace the title "Microphone Marine," saying he's earned it.
Aged rockers David Crosby and Graham Nash (Stills had the brains to stay home) rip our troops in Iraq as killing mothers and sisters and "hundreds of thousands of Iraqis." When will the Senate move to condemn this as "unpatriotic"?
A Marine thanks Rush for recommending Norman Podhoretz's "World War IV: the Long Struggle Against Islamofascism."
Rush declares Hillary Clinton "the most cheated on woman in the history of the world."
Meanwhile, Mrs. Clinton's keeps changing positions on when she'd pull out on Iraq -- as soon as she's elected, in 60 days, not before the end of her first term in office. Rush plays Maya Angelou gushing over the woman who would be sista-in-chief. (Rush 24/7 Members: Listen Here).
Plus, the Rush's Stack of Stuff Quick Hits Page on the Viennese "divorce fair," Free Speech Week, Hillary's eavesdropping, a preview of Hillary's presidency, "supervised drug injections" in San Francisco, a new SCHIP family, and an Air America host blames falling down on right-wing extremists!
All this and more when we update RushLimbaugh.com.
